Our program is year-round, can be enjoyed life long, and for the entire family. Students with no fencing experience must start with the Beginning or Youth Beginning Foil classes, and advance to other classes with instructor permission. Please visit daytonfencing.org prior to class for details on joining USA Fencing and signing a waiver, both required. Long pants and closed-toed athletic shoes are required, and fencing gear will be rented for $40 at the first day of class. Beginning and Youth classes are not offered over the Summer, will return in the Fall. Intermediate Foil Fencing This class starts with group activities including warm ups, games, and drills. Students fence class mates using electric scoring equipment, and work one on one with an instructor through a self-paced progression of fencing. This class is designed for those in mind who are coming multiple times a week. Unlimited Foil Fencing grants access to classes on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday for the given skill levels offered each season (Beginner, Intermediate, Intermediate 2).
