Referencing stained glass, op art, and modern geometries, the viewer is encouraged to search for the image within the composition. Sally Blair’s large-scale paintings are inspired by quantum phenomena, inviting viewers to engage with unseen aspects of the universe. Her paintings combine science and divinity, celebrating the deep symmetries found in the laws of nature. The images make visible notions of home across geographies and time. In The North Fork, Trent Davis Bailey takes a long view of family farms on the Western Slope of Colorado. His work investigates how people interact with the land, and the exhibition couples those moments with archival images that explore the history of that land and invite viewers to consider the present moment within a longer historical framework.
