ADAPTIVE AQUATICS Our Parent and Child, Preschool, Youth, and Adult Aquatics programs strive to be inclusive for all participants and to integrate individuals with disabilities within our programs. Adapted Swim Lesson This class is offered for individuals with disabilities that prefer a one- on-one setting. The program is designed to provide participants with a positive water acclimation experience. This is not a therapeutic program. Classes are taught by an experienced swim lesson instructor. A parent, sibling, or a responsible friend is invited to be in the water as a volunteer to assist the instructor at any time during the session. A meeting with parents, participant, and instructor will take place at the beginning of the first class to discuss session goals and any considerations that will aid the participant and instructor.
