In this hands on STEM based class, kids will explore the science of recycling and learn why reusing materials is important for our environment. Participants will then create their own recycled paper. Kids will blend, pour, and press recycled materials to form new colorful sheets which are perfect for writing notes, decorating, or using in future crafts while applying concepts of engineering, chemistry, and sustainability along the way. Grab a friend and join the Teen Puzzle Race, a friendly competition to see which duo can piece it together fastest. Teams of 2 will have 90 minutes to complete a 350-piece puzzle.
